The building on Eendrachtsplein 16 is a converted townhouse five floors tall, with a minimal but clean ground-floor check-in and kitchen on the first floor. No bar, no lobby-lounge theatrics, no scheduled events — just a bed and the essentials done properly.
Dorms are 4, 6, and 8-bed, mixed and female-only. Helber's review phrased it best: 'cool simple staff, doesn't do the most, just the essential'. Mattresses are fine, bunks are solid, lockers inside every room (bring a padlock or buy for €4). Bathrooms are shared on each floor.
The shared kitchen on the first floor is functional: induction hobs, a small oven, one fridge, basic pots and pans, a coffee machine. Not as well-stocked as Ani&Haakien or Sparks, but enough to cook a pasta or a rice dish. Most travelers end up using it for breakfast (croissants from Albert Heijn on the corner) rather than cooking dinner.
The Eendrachtsplein address is the budget corner of Centrum — five minutes on foot to Witte de Withstraat bars, eight minutes to Centraal, ten minutes to Markthal. The square itself (Eendrachtsplein) has a weekly Saturday flea market and a couple of budget eats. No rooftop, no restaurant, no happy hour. What you see is what you get.
