Pula is too small for a real bar district but big enough that the rooftops do the work.”

Sol Garden's patio is the most social of the BYOB rooftops (more turnover, more solo travelers). Festival weekend bookings sell out 6 weeks ahead.
Art & Joy's sun terrace is the calmest pick. No bar, no events, just plants and string lights. Solo travelers who want quiet rooftop hours should book here.
HI Hostel Pula's terrace looks across rocky shore: bring a beer from the on-site shop, watch the sunset around 20:30 in July. The 30-minute lungomare walk to Old Town afterwards is genuinely beautiful.
